Cindy Tomblin and Nicole Turney

Cindy Tomblin

This is Cindy’s fifth year partnering with CASA for Dancing with the North Georgia Stars. Cindy danced for us in 2016 and 2017. She has been a CASA Ambassador since 2013, where she learned about CASA when she participated in Leadership Lumpkin County. Cindy has owned a business here in Dahlonega, raised three children in Lumpkin County, and has served on numerous not for profit boards. Cindy and her husband Todd (her high school sweetheart) still find time to enjoy walking their two dogs and traveling. Cindy believes that every individual has the ability to make a positive impact in the lives of those around them. She is honored to be a part of this years DWNGS Reunion Tour and is competing to win that mirror ball!

Nicole Turney

Nicole played softball until she walked into a dance studio for the first time when she was 12. She learned a spectrum of dance styles including ballet, jazz, tap, modern, and acrobatics. As a senior in High School, she was accepted in the DeKalb Center for Performing Arts for music, theatre, and dance. She was also cast as the lead in the Spring Musical that year. She went on from High School to Brenau Women’s College and majored in dance and later, also theatre. She spent a year in the UK working in theatre during her last year of college. Presently, she is a mom to 6 children and works for the United States Post Office, Allison’s Honey and Vineyard, as well as owning and operating Bee Naturales. Returning to dance for Dancing with the North Georgia Stars will be a true challenge for her, but the purpose is worth the work.
