Stacy Jarrard and Sue Miller

Stacy Jarrard

This is Stacy began serving the citizens of Lumpkin County in 1988 when he started working for the Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office. A brief time was spent in Dawson and Forsyth County, still in law enforcement, but it took less than three years for Stacy to realize he wanted to return to Lumpkin County, where he was born and raised, to serve the citizens there. Stacy lives in Lumpkin County with his wife, Rebecca, and their daughter, McKenzie. Stacy has served in different capacities within the Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office, his greatest being when he was elected Sheriff of Lumpkin County in 2008.

Sue Miller

Sue has always had a love for dance. She did the choreography in high school for the spring choral shows and in college, she continued to be involved in dance classes and production. Her career and family took precedent over her dance interests until two years ago when she resumed fulfilling her passion for dance. She participated all of last year in country competitions and placed multiple times. This past December, she decided to switch to ballroom and placed first in nine out of nine dances in the first of her ballroom competitions. She is excited to be involved in Dancing With the North Georgia Stars with her returning star, Stacy Jarrard. Sue is grateful for her husband who has been supportive of her dance pursuits and the enormous amount of time involved, and for her two adult children, who also root her on.
