Wayne Hardy and Cat Peets

Wayne Hardy is the editor and publisher of the White County News and has worked nearly 15 years in community newspapers. He is also a member of the Rotary Club of White County. Wayne is married to Catherine Hardy, who teaches in the White County School System. They have two children, Braeden and Alaina.

Catherine Peets is a 15 year old sophomore at North Hall High School. Cat, as she likes to be called, began her performing career at the age of 2 when she took an undeserved bow for the applause being given to a band playing on the stage above her head. She has been dancing ballet since the age of 3. She also dances pointe, jazz, tap, hip hop, and lyrical. She has been in a number of musical theater productions and choreographed or been assistant choreographer for a number of them including: Annie, Jr., Once On This Island, Jr., Mary Poppins, Jungle Book, Jr., and Addam’s Family. She is thrilled to be participating in Dancing with the North Georgia Stars and helping to raise money and awareness for such a worthy cause!
