Cindy Bailey was born in Panama with a genuine bohemian spirit, and she was raised in a true gypsy fashion. Home was where she hung her hat at night. When her father was transferred from Izmir, Turkey to Fort McClellan in Anniston, Alabama, he chose to retire there during Cindy’s senior year in High School. The Anniston area was the longest tour of duty for Cindy as she never lived anywhere longer than a year until their tour in Turkey which was 2 years. In 1997, Cindy relocated to Dahlonega to take the helm of the Dahlonega-Lumpkin County Chamber of Commerce. Although the gypsy spirt lives on in Cindy as she loves to travel and experience various cultures, she has chosen the North Georgia Mountains as her first- known home.
When Cindy is not in the trenches of community & tourism development along with the organizational management of the White County Chamber of Commerce & Welcome Center in Cleveland, she is off seeking the next high adventure in the woods or on her two-wheeled love – Warrior Woman, a fully loaded, blinged-out 2014 Indian Chieftain Motorcycle – cruisin’ the twisties. Cindy and her best playmate and life partner have recently built their dream home in Cleveland, GA.
