Cinnamon Spurlock is a native of White Co. She graduated from White County High and then joined the Army serving for 8 years. She has been married to husband, Bob Spurlock who is also an Army Veteran, for 24 years. Following the military, Cinnamon worked in Nashville for 16 years before moving back to Helen to open her own business/cafe in 2013. Cinnamon met the challenge of running for Helen City Council in 2015 and was elected. Her hobbies include riding her Harley in the mountains. Cinnamon has no children, but she does have 2 cats. She is honored to be supporting Enotah CASA and participating in Dancing with North Georgia Stars Lumpkin/White 2017.
Josh Dyar is currently a Criminal Justice major at the University of North Georgia and an infantryman in the Georgia Army National Guard. Josh was born and raised in Douglasville, Georgia before coming to Dahlonega for school. He learned to dance at the UNG Swing Dance Association, and his favorite dance is East Coast Swing. He likes long rucks along the beach and going to the gym, where he lives by his motto: “Chest day is every day.”
