Nicole Turney and Wayne Hardy

Nicole Turney

Nicole Turney played softball until she walked into a dance studio for the first time at age 12. She learned a spectrum of dance styles including ballet, jazz, tap, modern and acrobatics.  As a senior in High School, she was accepted in the Dekalb Center for Performing Arts for music, theatre, and dance.  She was cast as the lead in the Spring Musical that year.  She went on from High School to Brenau Women’s college and majored in dance and later, also theatre. She spent a year in the UK working in a theatre during her last year of college.  Presently, she is a mom to 6 children. Nicole works for the United States Post Office, Allison’s Honey and Vineyard, and is the owner/operator of Bee Naturales.  Returning to dance for the “Dancing with North Georgia Stars” will be a real challenge for her, but the purpose is worth the work.

Wayne Hardy

Wayne Hardy is the editor and publisher of the White County News. He has worked as a community journalist for about 16 years. Mr. Hardy is a member of the Rotary Club of White County and serves on its scholarship committee. He is also involved with the Downtown Cleveland Merchants Alliance. This is his second time performing for Dancing with the Stars. His first time performing was at Lumpkin/White Dancing with North Georgia Stars in 2018 where he came in as First Runner Up for the Mirror Ball Trophy. The opportunity to work again with Enotah CASA motivated him to take the stage once again. Mr. Hardy would like to thank his wife and two children for their continued support.
