John Osborne is a native of Bardstown Kentucky. He is the youngest of eleven children and has lived in Georgia for the past 35 years. He is married to Robin Leard Osborne and they have 3 children. He attended the University of Kentucky, the University of Georgia and Lincoln Memorial University. His undergraduate degree is in Special Education, Masters in Educational Leadership and Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction.
John has served as principal of White County High School the past seven years. He has 31 years in education where he has been a teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal and assistant superintendent. In 1992 he was honored as Clarke County Teacher-of-the-Year and went on to be a finalist for Georgia Teacher-of-the-Year. He is passionate about educating and serving children. He currently serves as president of the Cleveland Kiwanis Club. He is dedicated to teaching and guiding our youth with a strong emphasis on the importance of serving others.
Meredith Martin is a recent graduate of Brenau University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. While at Brenau, she portrayed various roles in several shows, some favorites being Dream Laurey in Oklahoma! and Go-To-Hell Kitty in Chicago. You may have seen her as Alice in You Can’t Take It With You at the Holly Theater, or most recently, as dance captain for her final senior show, Gainesville Theatre Alliance’s Beauty And The Beast.
Meredith has been dancing since the age of four in many different styles including ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical/contemporary, ballroom and musical theater. She has taught jazz and theater at Sawnee Academy of The Arts and Footprints Dance Alliance, and she has choreographed Once On This Island Jr. for CYT Atlanta. Outside of the performing arts, Meredith also loves listening to music, traveling and petting as many dogs as possible. She is thrilled to be choreographing for Dancing With The Stars Lumpkin/White 2017. Enjoy the show!
