Judy Wheeler was born in Michigan and moved to Georgia after marrying her husband, Butch Wheeler, an Alpharetta native. They have three married children, and 6 grandchildren. Entrepreneurially spirited, Judy wore many hats before retiring to Dahlonega. She now spends her days managing their rental properties, managing a Lumpkin tennis group, being involved in community activities and being a welcoming member of the Dahlonega Lumpkin Newcomers Club. After participating, and winning Dancing With North Georgia Stars – Dahlonega, 2016, with her partner, Jeff Anderson, she has become involved with the North Georgia Ballroom Dance Club. Her goal is to help spread the word to the community that there is an opportunity to pursue social dancing in the Dahlonega area and to have others come join in the fun. Last, but not least, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling to Florida. She is excited to once again be involved in such a worthwhile cause as CASA.
